The Arquibar restaurant, located in the center of Madrid, is an ideal place to enjoy a good brunch in the city. This curious place offers homemade dishes, homemade pastries, cocktails and even its own beer, in an atmosphere where its passion for architecture and interior design blend with gastronomy in a place set in the 1930’s. For 20 € they serve a complete brunch: natural fruit juice (kiwi, orange, banana, apple), assorted homemade biscuits and muffins, cold meats, cheeses and […]
One of the things I learned to love in the USA when I lived there was the cereal. Since then, almost every Saturday I wake up with the illusion of having cereal for breakfast, it doesn´t matter if it´s a diet cereal, I love it anyway. That’s why I decided to go and check “Cereal Hunter Cafe” in Salamanca´s neighborhood. They have all the cereals that you can imagine and more, besides that you can choose between several types of milk […]
Crêperie Olive is a small and cozy space whose specialty are sweet or salty crêpes. Located opposite to the cultural center of Conde Duque, this Crêperie is coquettishly decorated with wooden tables and flowers, which make the place a pleasant space in which to extend the breakfast reading some of the books or magazine they have or spending time in company. In the menu, in addition to the crêpes, they also have toasts, cakes and sweets made with ecological ingredients. […]
This is one of the few coffeeshops that gets better and better everytime I go back. It is definitely my favorite option in Madrid to have brunch.
Salvador Bachiller stores have three gastrobars in Madrid where all the details are taken care of to the maximum. One of my favorite is El Jardín Secreto, very close to famous Gran Vía, in the 4th floor of the store. It is an outdoor garden filled with plants and fresh flowers. A natural space decorated with garden furniture, an authentic oasis from which to contemplate the sky of Madrid. They offer a varied gastronomic options: burgers, tacos, focaccia, homemade mochis, […]
An ideal restaurant to try Venezuelan gastronomy. Whenever I go I ask for brunch “Criollo” to try a little of everything.
This place is not exactly made for brunch, but it is probably the place with the best bread in Madrid, and therefore their toasts are one of the best you will find in this city. In addition to that, they also offer croissants, cakes, muffins, artisan empanadas, etc., and very good coffee. In their store, besides regular breads, you can buy corn bread, beet bread, cheese bread, rye honey and nuts bread, etc. Just be careful, because not all of […]
A good brunch, with good service and atmosphere, a wide variety of teas and homemade cakes. We also arrived at the Plaza de la Independencia at 8:00 am to enjoy the dawn of Madrid in full in El Retiro.
If you are looking for a cozy, warm and comfortable café where you can have a drink with friends, try salads and world tapas or the homemade pies and smoothies, or even celebrate your birthday party, there is “La Ciudad Invisible” right in the center of Madrid.
