A couple of years ago I went to Federal Café and had a wonderful breakfast. For my surprise, this is one of the few coffee shops that gets better and better every time I go back.

It first started in Barcelona, as a coffee shop inspired in a little town of Australia called “Federal”. Now you can find a few “federals” around Spain: Madrid, Valencia, Gerona, Barcelona…

Last time I went, I ordered the “morning veggie burger” with eggs, which is definitely what I am ordering next time.

Also, their homemade cakes are delicious.
