How to get there? We took a train from Beijing West Station to Datong for 152¥. It lasted 6 hours, and we arrived at 5:00am to Datong, ready to start our tour. How to get there? There are international and national flights to Beijing, check them out at here. In our case, we went from Shanghai by train, it took us 5 hours to get to Beijing Railway South Station. From this station, an official taxi to our hostel (downtown) cost around 40¥, an unofficial could charge you between 100-300¥ depending on the bargaining. How to get there? We flew Shanghai-Hong Kong-Shanghai with Spring Airlines for 180 euros. Two hours flight that was actually 3-4 hours with all the delays. There are also international flights to Hong Kong, check them out here. How to get there? We flew with Emirates from Madrid to Shanghai, arriving to Pudong International Airport around 22:30. There are lots of international and national flights, check them out here.
