Last Sunday I had tickets to go to a yoga class at El Rincon de la Avena, in Malasaña. A pop up cafe of Quaker that will be open until October 30th (2017), offering brunch, cakes, smoothies, sandwiches and oatmeal in all its presentations. Also, they have talks, workshops and yoga classes, all for free. Everything looked delicious, but as I am intolerant to oatmeal we decided to try Raro Rare restaurant.
This is what my friend and I ordered:
Vega Vega: edamame humus with onion, tomato and quinoa salad.
Bravorollo: Spicy dragon roll of salmon and tempura prawn.
Andinos: Bowels tacos with Andean herbs and chili mayonnaise.
Bacataco: tempura cod tacos, purple onion, coriander and cosmic sauce.
For dessert a lemon pie muffin with matcha ice cream.
I love this Asian / Peruvian fusion restaurant fad. We paid 67€ for all of these (+ 1 glass of wine), which was more than enough for 2 people.
Totally recommended. We were lucky to get a table, but I would recommend you to book beforehand.
