As we are one of the few who stay in Madrid in the summer, we try to make fun plans for the weekend. So we decided to spend the day in Berceas, a park in the Pinar de Las Dehesas with pools and a bar, because even if you have a pool at home, the good view of the mountains and the pool with river water make the difference.

They also allow access with food in case you want to bring your own snacks. The entrance to the park is 6.5 euros per person. Children up to 13 years old and senior citizens pay 3.5 euros. One euro less if you go on weekdays.

We drove from Madrid on the A6 highway, exit 47 towards the M-600, in the direction of Guadarrama. After crossing the town of Guadarrama we took the M-622 towards Cercedilla and there we followed the signs.

Also in this area is one of the Aventura Amazonia ecoparks with zip lines, extreme circuits, etc.
